What Is a COA?

Certificate of Analysis

A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is a formal document from an independent analytical laboratory confirming the purity, identity, and potency of a specific compound batch. Each COA is unique to a batch/lot number and cannot be shared across production runs.

Purity: HPLC analysis confirming compound purity percentage

Identity: Mass spectrometry molecular weight confirmation

Potency: Quantitative verification of active compound content
